EHS Advisor

Main Duties:
Oversee all environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities within the turbine hall.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and site procedures.
Provide guidance and support to site teams on health and safety standards.
Report and manage incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
Liaise with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture across site operations.
Monitor performance metrics and deliver updates to management teams.
Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety requirements at all times.
Requirements:
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - this is the foundational qualification most often required.
CSCS Card (appropriate level for site access).
IOSH Membership (often at least Tech IOSH level, demonstrating professional competence).
Hands-on major project or infrastructure experience, preferably in power generation, nuclear, or heavy engineering.
Strong familiarity with UK health and safety legislation and standards.
