Deputy Logistics Service Delivery Lead

As a Deputy Logistics Service Delivery Lead you will be methodical and have a strategic approach to delivering complex deployments and operational planning. You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be capable of leading multiple geographically separate teams to deliver a safe, coherent, efficient, and quality driven Construction Logistics service to our customers. You will be responsible for the H&S, Stores and Compounds and Building Access Area Coordination teams. Your day-to-day job will focus on the bigger picture to create and maintain a cohesive logistics service to the MEHA (Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Alliance) and you will provide appropriate tools to allow seamless operation of your areas of responsibility; however, you will have a team of experienced leaders to manage daily tasks. You will have strong communication skills and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional standard).
• SMSTS or similar construction qualification
Desirable
• NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Higher Education certificate or Degree.

o Skilled at managing fast moving and diverse operational environments.
o Skilled at producing clear, concise plans, documents and presentations.
o Demonstrate strategic and operational stakeholder management.
o Demonstrate a flexible mindset capable of dealing effectively with a fluid and changing environment and competing priorities from multiple customers.
o Prior experience of working within a busy office environment and under pressure.
o Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines.
o Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of all MS Office packages.
o Demonstrate excellent verbal communication, IT and written skills.
