Opportunity for a Construction Equipment Maintenance – Lifting & Rigging Administrator working with ENKA UK on the Hinkley Point C Project,
Main Duties:
- Register all Plant, tools, Lifting equipment and accessories to ENKA Global Equipment Management software (EGEM).
- Track regulatory inspections for Plant (Daily Inspections, Brake Tests, MOT, Insurance etc.) and make sure they are done in a timely manner, and all records are uploaded into EGEM.
- Track regulatory inspections of Lifting Equipment and Accessories (Weekly inspections, 6 monthly LOLER), make sure they are done in a timely manner, and all records are uploaded into EGEM
- Request and track maintenance and repair services from plant dealers and track all relevant paperwork arrives in a timely manner (Workorder, Job done, invoice etc.) and register them into EGEM.
- Track daily checklists of the plant done in a timely manner and liaise with operators for plant health before any plant operation begins daily.
- Conduct inbound, outbound and quarterly inspections of the plant and equipment and register them into EGEM
- Track QR coding, ENKA brand stickers, RFID tags of the plant, tools, lifting equipment and accessories and make sure they work correctly from EGEM.
- Track operators and Rigger training records make sure they are all updated. Arrange required internal and external training, prepare paperwork for the personnel with ENKA HSE Training and track.
- Add access or remove access to the operators for utilization of plants from Track Unit web software.
- Help with small repair jobs until Dealer or 3rd Party Plant Engineer arrives to site.
- Dispatch plant, tools, Lifting Equipment and accessories to and from site for needs
- Prepare and send daily plant usage, monthly cost reports to relevant internal parties
- Request fuel / LPG for plant and track the remaining quantities
- Gather procurement requests for Lifting equipment, accessories and tools and prepare Material Requisition (MR) form.
- Liaise with other parties such as Rigging Loft responsible, operators and other groups for needs and requirements and share relevant information with them.
- Ensure that a "zero harm" approach is taken in relation to all his acts and omissions in relation to the services and the project. Acknowledges that due to the nature of the project, nuclear safety and security are of paramount importance.
- Agrees to comply with any rule, instruction or requirement of the Company in relation to the services which the company determines, in his sole and absolute discretion, is necessary in order for the company to comply with his obligations under the nuclear site license.
- Housekeeping of the work areas; collection, segregation and disposal of wastes as required; removal of unused materials and clear the work floors to eliminate/reduce slipping or tripping risks in your work area.
- Safe use, protection, storage and care of general maintenance products, hand and power tools

- Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare;
- Follow the training you have received when using any work items your employer has given you.

- Plant, Tool & Equipment Technician
- AutoCAD, MS Office knowledge and good computer skills to use web/cloud-based programs (EGEM, EGPS, Track Unit, Radius Velocity etc.).
- Has one of the following qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Maintenance
- Level 3 Diploma - Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Q1053110) (Light Vehicles)
- Level 2 Progression Award in Automotive Servicing & Repair - Light Vehicle Maintenance Certificate
- Level 3 Apprenticeship Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician
Preferably:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance & Repair
- Has UK Drivers license
- Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS)
- Hold or Can achieve CCNSG Safety Passport or HS&E test for supervisors.
- Able to Pass Safety Critical Medical exam
