Salary: Starting from £28,000
Working Hours:
39 hours on average per week.
9 days across 2 weeks (Monday to Friday on week 1 & Monday to Thursday on week 2).
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Control Tower Controller at Hinkley Point C.
As a Control Tower Controller, you will play a vital role in monitoring and coordinating real-time logistics operations within the Construction Logistics Zone at Hinkley Point C. You will be responsible for proactively addressing disruptions, optimising material flow and ensuring efficient deliveries to designated Building Access Areas and Final Delivery Points. As a Controller you will be supporting the Logistics Coordinators & Control Tower Team Leader in ensuring seamless communication between various teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily material flow ensuring adherence to schedules and compliance with safety standards.
- Support various teams in addressing operational issues & logistics decision-making.
- Track and report incidents, delays or bottlenecks, escalating critical issues to the Logistics Coordinator for resolution
- Use our online delivery and inventory management system to provide real-time updates and optimize delivery routes.
- Ensure that the Control Tower asset tracking data is accurate and up to date
What do we need from you:
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before start date)
- Experience with monitoring and reporting systems
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities
- Strong critical thinking, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Experience of using Fulcrum (Delivery & Inventory Management Systems).
- Understanding of Control Tower systems and their role in logistics performance management
- Familiarity with transport operations and supply chain logistics
- Power BI/DOMO (Business Intelligence Analytics)
Site Specific Information:
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
