Frammatome have an exciting opportunity for a Contract & Commercial Manager working on the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and sustain Commercial development.
  • Clarify Variation Requests (VAR) with the Client and with Framatome internal governance Variation Proposals (VP).
  • Capture client needs and identify negotiation leverages with agile win win approach. 
  • Build the offer with technical teams, compiling the costings and final dossier.
  • Follow internal Framatome governance to reach a consensus on the offered price, terms and conditions and negotiation mandate. 
  • Handle negotiations with the Client. 
  • Ensure Contractual compliance and fulfilment of Framatome duties.
  • Manage the process of Early Warnings (EWN) and Risk Reduction Meetings (RRM) 
  • Perform in-depth analysis of contractual requirements to advise organization about contractual risk and opportunities (Contract Clarification Sheet) 
  • Draft or support the drafting of contractual communications toward Clients or any other stakeholders 
  • Definition and follow-up of contractual requirements through compliance matrix and by use of Contract management tools. 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors/Masters degree is desirable
  • Legal, Engineering or Business School Degree is also desirable


Experience:

 

  • Experience in large infrastructure projects, such as for Oil/Gas, transport, automotive, energy sectors in engineering, supply chain, or contract & commercial management roles. 
  • Experience in complex negotiation and high value contract management involving NEC or FIDIC processes.  
  • Language skills: High level of English (essential), French (desirable) 
  • Computer literate: good experience with standard Microsoft package
