Construction Delivery Manager

Rates of pay: £380 PAYE to £520 UMBRELLA per day

 

Contract: Temporary at 40 hours per week

 


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Support contract partners in their delivery of works packages
  • Recommend temporary measures to mitigate safety/quality concerns and take appropriate action
  • Monitor on-site works and contribute to construction daily reports
  • Proactively communicate with other site teams (H&S, contract, project controls, logistics)
  • Attend PLOD/PLOW meetings with contractors and ensure outputs are recorded
  • Undertake safety and/or assurance inspections supporting project HSPIs
  • Maintain clear two-way communication with the Senior Construction Delivery Manager
  • Work shifts to suit Tier 1 shift patterns

 


Required Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Experience in construction sequencing, recovery plans, and resource allocation
  • Good understanding of CDM Regulations
  • Working knowledge in project delivery
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction management (or equivalent experience)
  • SMSTS or IOSH qualification

  • Ability to write informative, concise, and meaningful reports
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Results-focused mindset with personal accountability
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach to site operations management


Desirable Experience:

 

  • Experience in high-security environments
  • Experience within the Nuclear environment or large Civil Engineering/Building/MEH projects
