About Hinkley Point C
The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.
Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, or 600 million tonnes over its 60-year lifespan.

 

 

 

What you'll be doing
As a Compliance Management Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Maintain training records and manage course completion evidence
  • Send and receive relevant training updates to and from MEH JV partners
  • Production of monthly training expiry reports
  • Upload New Starter information on to a CMS
  • Arrange classroom and training space reservations
  • Support with the L&D team mailbox
  • Relevant ad hoc support e.g., reports, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Data collation and entry
  • Working with on-boarding teams to support compliance and qualification requirements
  • Producing detailed and accurate joining instructions for training activity
  • Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Additional appropriate ad hoc duties as agreed with line manager

 

 

 

Who we're looking for
Do you have?

  • Competent in using Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word with an aptitude to work with other software
  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar fast paced environment
  • Skilled at developing strong relationships within large organisations
  • Experience of working in an HR team would be desirable
  • Strong team player
  • Flexible and adaptable with good organisational skills
  • Able to manage a busy workload and multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator and facilitator at all organisation levels
  • Resilient character, with ability to challenge others
  • Proactive with a questioning attitude and continuous improvement focus
