Completions Lead

We have a vacancy for a Completions Manager to join our team in the position of Completions Discipline Lead on the MEH alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project. The Completions Discipline Lead will be accountable for the management of Completions area leads and Punch list leads Maintaining system and CTP control, management of change for Completions system up to point of handover to client commissioning team whilst working to various LC's. System and sub-system management for the MEH Alliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage System and CTP handover to the Commissioning and Operations team  
  • Ensure reviews are being carried out and reports are available for progress at system and CTP's from team 
  • Lead a team of Completions area leads.  
  • Ensure engagement of construction team in the importance of system and CTP handover 
  • Represent MEHJV in system and CTP SAG meetings for review and agreement. 
  • Review of sub systems packs for MEHJV scope  
  • Ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements, supporting provision of as built surveys and Lifetime Records. 
  • Ensure licence conditions for completions activities are always adhered too.

 

 

Qualifications and Experiences: 

  • Relevant engineering qualification  
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering, Quality) 
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher) 
  • IOSH Managing safely

 

Experience: 

  • Experience of multi-discipline organisation, demonstrating ability to recognise and manage the day to day completions through the Construction phase at bulk level whilst mindful of sub-system and system completion in line with Commissioning needs. 
  • Experienced in leading teams with clear direction, objective setting and management ability, particularly in a multi-cultural environment. 
  • Nuclear sector experience, ideally in new build environment an advantage. 
  • Experience of construction delivery, maintaining program, and appreciation of technical queries and non-conformances. 
  • Experience in the collation and maintenance of life time quality records, process driven delivery and closeout/handover of records and data.
