Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing project costs and contracts
  • Collecting and analysing project data
  • Preparing quotations for additional and out-of-scope works
  • Assembling and submitting monthly payment applications
  • Conducting cost/value analysis exercises
  • Providing cost advice to clients and project teams
  • Supporting the commercial awareness of operational teams, including guidance on annual budgets
  • Creating and maintaining visual data presentations, including graphs and charts
  • Managing data reporting and tracking performance against agreed KPIs
  • Forecasting labour and material requirements
  • Assisting with time and attendance queries.

 

Qualifications:

  • CITB Ops


Experience

Essential:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse large datasets, identify inconsistencies, and spot errors with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports using data from multiple sources
  • Experience or ability to manage time and attendance data accurately, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data in various formats
  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively under pressure


Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems
  • Experience using time and attendance systems
  • Familiarity with financial or commercial reporting processes
  • Experience working with large datasets or data reporting tools
  • Experience working on large-scale projects within nuclear or similarly regulated sectors
