Framatome is one the main contractors for the construction of Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, overseeing the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of primary circuit components.


As Framatome installation activities are increasing, building a strong on-site organisation is crucial to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.


The Hinkley Point C (HPC) Project is strengthening its on-site team and is seeking a Care & Maintenance Lead.


The Care & Maintenance Leader is in charge of the organisation and implementation of the Care & Maintenance activities on HPC site:


•    Ensure the Care & Maintenance schedules for all Materials items are realised, including accountability for all supporting tasks and actions
•    Ensure Care & Maintenance is performed in compliance with plant item Sub-Contractors and Framatome procedures and recommendations
•    Ensure compliance with NNB standards and regulatory requirements
•    Ensure the storage/environment conditions are met (location and packaging) and take action to maintain those conditions (improve location, add protection, launch repacking)
•    Ensure all deviations are reported, recorded, and corrective actions are done
•    Revise the Care & Maintenance organisation procedure as required
Interfaces
•    Framatome Site team (in particular Logistics, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality and Operations)
•    NNB (in particular Assets Management and Warehouses) and Third Parties (EIA, ONR)
•    Framatome back office in France (Equipment Project Managers)
•    Installation teams and Subcontractors


Qualifications:


•    Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•    Background:
•    A minimum of 3 years working in mechanical construction area or industry, ideally in an international or large project context


Key Skills and experiences:


•    Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
•    Taking initiatives, autonomy
•    Team orientated
•    Customer orientated
•    Results driven: Ability to persist in the face of challenges to meet deadlines with high standards
•    Language: English, French is a plus
•    Working in a reactor nuclear site or large site construction
•    Competent with Microsoft office
