CLS Logistics Manager (Black Hat) - Days

Main Duties:


• Ensuring your specific teams are being put to work correctly.
• Ensuring the daily tasks are clearly communicated, completed safely and with quality.
• Ensuring procurement requirements are identified and justified.
• Auditing the works and formulating methods of feedback and improvement.
• Ensure investigations are implemented and reports are compiled following all incidents and accidents.
• Initiate safety stand downs where appropriate.
• Manage and review the creation and content of DABs and day notes.
• Ensure you have daily contact with all the construction managers by attending daily. stakeholder/coordination meetings.
• Ensure the Logistics team have the correct incident and safety cover in place.
• Ensure your teams have correct and sufficient equipment.
• Ensure the implementation of all PVPI control measures.
• Oversee access and egress within all designated logistics areas.


Requirements:


• CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional standard)
• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Card
• Level 6 or above NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management Insight Reporting
• Construction Logistics Experience as a Logistics Manager.
• Operational involvement with construction management.
• Create audit schedules and feedback data.
• Able to create SOP's and Method Statements.
• Excellent communication skills written & verbal.
• Good competence with IT - specifically MS Office package.
• HR experience - (disciplinary, investigations absence management, grievance, performance management).
• Experience using time and attendance systems.
• Experience in traffic management.
• Driving Licence.
• IOSH.
