Buildings Logistics Lead

Main Duties:


•    Lead your team of managers and their reports to provide a cohesive building logistics service to the construction teams, interfacing and planning with Construction Area and Building Leads.
•    Resource, recruit, train and deploy your team to meet the growing service demands.
•    Monitor and provide agreed management reporting to the Building Area Lead. 
•    Develop and maintain key documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
•    Coordinate procurement planning and requisitions for the Building Logistics team.
•    Lead on HR / IR compliance and resolutions.
•    Identify best for project operational innovation.
•    Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
•    Ensure the Building Logistics Managers and Supervisors are carrying out their duties effectively.
•    Ensure investigations are implemented and reports are compiled following all incidents and accidents.  
•    Initiate and lead safety stand downs where appropriate. 
•    Maintain daily contact with all the construction building managers.  
•    Ensure an effective building logistics service including the core activity involving the movement of permanent and consumable material and equipment to agreed locations within buildings.


Requirements:


•    Valid Passport.
•    SMSTS or similar construction qualification
•    CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional standard)

Salary: Starting from £83,660.50 per annum (£77,000.00 core salary plus a guaranteed project bonus of 8.65%, which is paid monthly)
