Building Coordinator

Opportunity for a Building Coordinator working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C Project,
Main Duties:
- Coordinate engineers across various technical teams and facilitate multi-disciplinary interfaces
- Monitor JDO performance using appropriate KPIs and reporting systems
- Ensure timely delivery of design and construction changes to meet Construction needs
- Participate in Design Package readiness reviews for construction
- Work closely with Design, Contractor and Construction teams to ensure quality technical responses
- Report to JDO Area Lead on risks and facilitate issue resolution
- Manage team workload within resource constraints
- Arrange and chair meetings to track progress and bring stakeholders together
- Ensure compliance with project schedules and construction safety requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in an Engineering Discipline (preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
- Proven experience in delivering large multi-disciplined projects
- Strong understanding of Contract Management and CDM Regulations
- Experience in construction industry and on-site working
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation, influencing and facilitation abilities
- Pragmatic approach to issue management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong compliance focus regarding procedures and safety
- Proficiency in information management and database systems
