We now have a career opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic person to be part of our team as an Assistant Commercial Manager.

Working within a highly collaborative and integrated Alliance environment, commercially responsible, on any work package or contract assigned to them, for all pre and post contract commercial issues relating to a contract on the HPC project, in particular for optional, additional and emerging works contracts and specifically Site Common Services. 

 
Other accountabilities include: 

 

  • Reporting and providing Commercial support to a Senior Commercial Manager/Lead or Supply Chain Lead.  
  • Support the development and/or implementation of designated procurement plans in accordance with the MEH Alliance and NNB Procurement and Supply Chain Management strategy. 
  • Support and engage with the wider supply chain activities on the project. 
  • Interfacing with the Legal team on conditions of contract issues. 
  • Support Commercial management of contracts during execution phase (post-award) to maximise operational and financial performance and minimise commercial risk. 
  • Support the delivery of contracts in accordance with MEH Alliance and HPC governance requirements. 
  • Professional development of self 
  • Ensure all Principal Accountabilities are implemented in accordance with HPC Commercial Procedures 
  • Administration of commercial management tools including, but not limited to, CEMAR and SAP. 

 

 

The Assistant Commercial Manager will be a point of Commercial contact on the Site Common Services optional additional and emerging scope contract(s) and will be required to work closely and pro-actively with Procurement and other stakeholders at all levels and across all the teams within HPC to ensure the requirements of the individual contracts and their impact upon the overall HPC Project are successfully delivered.  .
