Area Access Scaffold Lead

Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate Access requirements received from 8010 plus 'Access for Others' through their area Access team to work efficiently and work to best practice.
• Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership and support to the relevant Building Lead throughout the whole construction life cycle of their allocated area supporting a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Accountable for Integrated delivery performance to the Access Lead
• Ensure all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations
• Provide input for progress reporting on all Construction activities within the EA.
• Coordination and interface management of Access as part of construction delivery requirements between multiple discipline site operations.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
• Employees are responsible for ensuring they fully understand the health and safety risks involved in their work activities and their responsibility to apply the controls needed to manage those risks to acceptable levels. Similarly, where work activities can have an adverse impact upon the environment, and particularly where there are legal requirements, employees are responsible for understanding those impacts and the controls they must ensure are applied.
Qualifications
• Relevant Professional Accreditation preferable (PM, Construction, Engineering)
Experience
• Minimum 10 years demonstratable experience in the Access Industry
• Minimum 5 years Supervisory level working knowledge of the following Access related guidelines - NASC / CISRS / CITB Part 2 / CISRS / CITB Advanced / SG4 Training / TG20 Training
• Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
• IOSH Managing safely Experience
• Proven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector.
• Experienced in delivering and operating at a management level, including
• experience working within Joint Ventures
• Experience in safely delivering large scale projects HNC or equivalent or above.
• Communication skills - First class communication and presentation skills.
• Results orientation - Understanding the required results and focusing to achieve them.
• Teamwork - Working closely with colleagues and Peers
