The role
The difference our new Appointed Person (Lifting Engineer) will make:
As an Appointed Person (Lifting Engineer) you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Day to day, you’ll be planning the team to ensure lifting activities (and associated prep work) are prioritised. Accountable for Creation of the Processes and Procedures to effectively control MEHA lifting activities, along with Developing of lift plans in accordance with NNB Management of Lifting Operations Standard whilst ensuring lifting activities under the MEH scope comply with legislation, standards, COP.s and NNB lifting standard.

Essential experience
• Lift planning using Mobile/Crawler/Tower cranes
• Lift planning of rigging operations
• AutoCAD proficient (evidence required)
• Experienced in delivering and operating as a Team Lead / manager, including experience working within Joint Ventures
Essential Qualifications
• CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Blue Card)
• NVQ Level 3 Steel Erecting/Moving Loads
• Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
• IOSH managing safely
