This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms. 

 

The role

 

As a Site Administration Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be the focal point for all site administration queries and for any communications between the central facilities management team and alliance partners. You’ll work closely between the construction, MEH site wide and site operation teams to ensure site office arrangements and agreements are adhered to.

 

  • Lead and manage the site administrator team, ensuring the office functions and supports the construction delivery teams with admin support.
  • Coordinate meetings, deliveries, and visitors, including scheduling, room booking, and inductions.
  • Maintain office organization, including notice boards, desk requirements, and whereabouts sheets for the site team.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as purchase orders, registering new starters, and managing outgoing post.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, including car parking bay allocation and site team training matrix updates.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Site leads, including attending workshops and training to support the admin role.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and can be working across either a 5 day week, or 9 day fortnight working patterns. 

 

Essential experience of the Site Administration Manager

 

  • Effective diary management, ensuring seamless scheduling and coordination
  • Travel and room booking, providing efficient logistical support
  • Office supplies management, including procurement and inventory control
  • Team leadership and management, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

 

Qualifications for the Site Administration Manager

 

  • NVQ 2 or proven experience in an office environment.

 

Security Clearance
