Opportunity for Excavator Operators (Sizewell B) working with Flannery on the Sizewell B Site,


Main Duties : 

 

  • Safely operate excavators to perform a variety of tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and loading materials.
  • Use GPS machine control systems if required for precision grading or excavation.
  • Follow site plans and blueprints to complete tasks according to specifications.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of the excavator, including checking fluids, tires/tracks, lights, and safety equipment.
  • Report mechanical issues or damage promptly and ensure equipment is repaired as needed.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Excavators.
  • Experience operating excavators on construction, groundwork, or civil engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to handle excavators of various sizes and types, including those with specialized attachments like breakers, grapples, or rippers.
