Sizewell C will be a cutting-edge 3.2-gigawatt power station, producing low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and contributing significantly to the UK's sustainable energy future. About the Role:


As the Emerging Talent Advisor, you will be at the forefront of nurturing emerging talent within the CWA. This role involves closely liaising with apprentices, learning providers, and hiring managers to ensure a robust pipeline of motivated and skilled individuals who will drive the success of the Sizewell C project. You will be instrumental in supporting graduates and interns, providing them with a clear pathway for professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Work hand-in-hand with learning providers to oversee the performance and delivery of the apprenticeship scheme.
  • Pastoral Support: Offer guidance and support to apprentices, interns and graduates ensuring their well-being and growth throughout their time with us.
  • Coordination & Facilitation: Manage apprenticeship enrolments and facilitate interactions between apprentices, learning providers, and line managers.
  • Documentation & Feedback: Maintain documentation, regularly collect feedback, and analyse data to recommend improvements.
  • Cohort Development: Create a cohesive emerging talent cohort and develop additional learning opportunities.
  • Outreach & Recruitment: Act as an ambassador for emerging talent programs at local recruitment events and engage with schools and colleges to secure a steady stream of candidates.
  • University Relationships: Support the Recruitment Team in fostering relationships with local universities to attract interns and graduates.
  • Performance Monitoring for Interns & Graduates: Oversee the performance and support the development of apprentices, interns and graduates on the project.


Who We Are Looking For:


We are seeking a professional with a strong understanding of the apprenticeship landscape, who is confident in engaging with diverse stakeholders from various levels of experience. You should be highly organized, capable of managing conflicting priorities, and proficient in MS Office products. Self-motivation, proactivity, and a positive mindset are essential traits for this role.


Desirable Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working with apprentices at a college, learning provider, or business.
  • Membership in CIPD.
  • Experience in large infrastructure projects.
  • HR background.
  • Success in managing emerging talent cycles.
