Emergency Treatment Nurse (Sizewell C)

Key Responsibilities:


• Provide emergency response for both trauma and medical incidents on site
• Deliver walk-in treatment services for injury and illness, including:
• Minor injury management
• Wound care
• Resuscitation
• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Prescribe medication independently in line with scope of practice
• Carry out drug and alcohol testing
• Perform cannulation where required
• Support and deliver health promotion and wellbeing initiatives


What We're Looking For


We are seeking highly skilled, motivated, and compassionate NMC-registered nurses with a strong clinical background.


You will ideally have:


• Proven experience within Accident & Emergency or urgent care settings
• A valid UK manual driving licence
• Current Immediate or Advanced Life Support certification
• Independent Prescriber qualification (V300 or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience in autonomous clinical decision-making and treatment planning
• You will also possess strong clinical competencies, including:
• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Baseline health assessments
• Cannulation

NMC Registered nurse

You will be confident working independently, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patients effectively within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound clinical judgement and a proactive approach to patient care.


Working Hours/Pay structure


We are recruiting for the following weekday shift patterns These are the preferred shift patterns; however, we are open to discussing alternatives.
Position 1: 36 hours per week (3 days) - £51,480 per annum
Position 2: 24 hours per week (2 days) - £34,320 per annum
Shifts are 12 hours, Monday to Friday (07:00 - 19:00)
