  • As our Commis Chef, you will be responsible for food preparation and will genuinely care about the quality of food you prepare, supporting all kitchen sections with a good understanding of knife skills is important. You will ensure kitchen stations are clean and will learn about hygiene regulations and practices. Stock rotation is key and you will work with our talented senior chefs to ensure all food is correctly rotated and stored.
  • This is a pivotal role within the kitchen brigade, and you will be someone who enjoys using local produce and will consistently deliver high standards.
  • The ideal candidate may have some experience already in a kitchen, or recently completed or undertaking formal training.
  • You must be able to work under pressure, have great communication skills and be a team player to work in conjunction with our Front of House Team to ensure our guests stay is always memorable.
  • The Bell operates 7 days a week so a level of flexibility is required to assist in weekend work.


Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in a kitchen would be beneficial.
