Opportunity for a Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver (Sizewell C) working with Tru7 on the Sizewell C Project,


Position Overview:


Are you a skilled and reliable Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver? Join the TruMix, a leader in the construction and plant hire industry, and become a vital part of our team.


As one of our drivers you carry out daily checks in line with company procedures prior to leaving the depot to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, the load is safe and secure. The company expects that as a professional HGV driver you will uphold the high standards set by the company and to run the Vehicle in an effective manner and minimise damage to the vehicle.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure full compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Adhere to Drivers Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations.
  • Conduct walk-round inspections of vehicle, and complete defect reporting.
  • Use a tablet-based system to log job completions.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition.


Qualifications/Experience: 

 

  • Valid Class 2 vocational licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC card.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous concrete mixer experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Knowledge of Policies and procedures is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of concrete is desired but not essential.
