As we continue our journey of growth and expansion to serve the new era of nuclear energy, Boccard, as a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing, construction and maintenance in the nuclear energy industry, are looking for talented, experienced Project Quality Manager to join our growing Quality Team here at Boccard to be based at our Bristol office.


We are seeking a highly motivated Project Quality Manager to support our Business Unit Quality Manager and Senior Project Quality Manager in defining, implementing, and assuring the highest quality standards across our projects. This role is central to ensuring our manufacturing, construction, and supplier activities meet stringent nuclear, regulatory, and customer expectations.

•    Define and embed project quality standards in collaboration with Quality Managers and project teams.
•    Support manufacturing and construction teams with quality requirements and technical problem solving.
•    Develop and maintain project processes to ensure successful delivery of all scopes of work.
•    Promote a strong Right First Time culture and ensure final delivery quality.
•    Embed Nuclear Safety Culture behaviours across all project teams.
•    Deliver training sessions including Nuclear Culture and CFSI awareness.
•    Liaise with quality and surveillance teams to ensure raw materials are compliant and free from CFSI.
•    Support supplier approvals, audits, and performance reviews.
•    Assist manufacturing and installation teams in resolving technical quality issues.
•    Proactively detect and prevent CFSI risks across the supply chain.
•    Ensure manufacturing and construction processes remain efficient and compliant.
•    Act as the primary point of contact for all project quality matters.
•    Ensure delivery centres follow defined project procedures.
•    Manage QA/QC activities including NDT, dimensional checks, and record keeping.
•    Monitor project performance indicators: Safety First, On Time, On Spec, On Budget, Customer Satisfaction
•    Communicate with clients on all quality related matters.
•    Provide feedback to project teams and leadership on quality concerns.
•    Analyse and resolve process quality issues to improve performance.
•    Manage KPI data, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare reports.
•    Travel to suppliers for audits, reviews, and capability assessments.
•    Ensure team compliance with company policies, including Equality & Diversity.
•    Perform any other reasonable duties aligned with the role


Requirements:


•    HNC in Engineering or related discipline
•    Fluent in English (written and verbal)
•    Extensive experience in manufacturing or construction environments implementing quality programmes
•    Understanding of Nuclear New Build requirements
•    Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures
•    Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
•    Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 19443, welding and NDT standards
•    Strong organisational and problem solving skills
•    Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
•    Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail


Desirable


•    Knowledge of RCCM requirements
•    Fluent in French (written and verbal)
