Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK Net Zero targets.

All candidates are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and experience where possible directly related to the criteria required for the role. It is acknowledged that previous Nuclear based experience will not always be possible, as such supporting with project research and how individual skills may be transferable will be important.


The role provides an opportunity to support the successful delivery of major nuclear construction projects through effective project coordination, administration, communication, and stakeholder support.


Summary of Role    


The Dalkia Office Coordinator will establish and maintain the effective operation of the project office. The role will involve the provision of comprehensive administrative and coordination support to site teams and SLT/SMT functions. 


You will be supporting the business through an exciting period of growth from project inception to completion, requiring the ability to establish your professional credibility and build strong working relationships across the business. This is a full-time position. 


Key Deliverables:     


•    Provide effective day-to-day administrative support to the wider delivery team, SLT/SMT functions, ensuring smooth business and office operations.
•    Establish and maintain the office environment, coordinating with the Dalkia and HPC support services to ensure full continued operational readiness.
•    Act as a professional point of contact for Dalkia clients and sub-contractor representatives, supporting clear communication and effective administrative coordination.
•    Maintain an accurate attendance and location records for all Dalkia staff 
•    Support project teams, SLT/SMT functions with document scanning, document formatting, QA reviews and document transmittal management working closely with the document management team.
•    Coordinate SLT/SMT meetings and diaries, ensuring effective scheduling, preparation of meeting materials, and follow-up actions where required.
•    Provide consistent, high-quality administrative support to SLT/SMT functions, contributing to efficient decision-making and project delivery.


Essential Qualifications     


•    Good general level of education i.e. GCSE x 5 particularly English and Math’s at C/5 and above.
•    Minimum 2+ years of office or site administration experience within a fast-paced environment
•    Competence in Microsoft Office applications 
•    Competent in using PDF creation, editing and management such as Bluebeam and/or Adobe Acrobat Professional.
•    HSE Operative Test or CCNSG safety passport 
•    Previous experience within a construction site environment 
•    Experience should include efficient administration, document organisation and general office administration


Desirable qualifications and Experience:     


•    Business Administration qualification at level 3 or above is desirable
•    Ability to build professional relationships with project team members, sub-contractors, and clients
•    Previous Hinkley Point C site experience and knowledge of site requirements, site-specific systems and software
