Aztec West, Bristol (hybrid working)

Salary: from £56,000

Grade: B

Ready to help shape the future of nuclear energy in the UK? Do you enjoy bringing structure to complex engineering projects and making sure critical engineering information is managed effectively? As a Configuration and Replication Process Owner, you'll play a key role in one of the UK's most significant low-carbon infrastructure programmes. At EDF, Success is Personal – and your career journey is yours to shape.

The Opportunity

As a Configuration and Replication Process Owner, you'll help ensure the successful replication of Hinkley Point C's design for Sizewell C. Your work will support design consistency, nuclear safety and effective configuration control across a major engineering programme, helping drive the journey towards An Electric Britain.

EDF EPR Engineering UK delivers the design for nuclear island buildings, systems, and equipment for Hinkley Point C and similar projects. Working as part of an integrated team, EPR Engineering supports construction and commissioning while preparing design‑replication feasibility and related engineering activities.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this hybrid role is based at #AztecWest in #Bristol. You'll work closely with colleagues across the UK and France, combining office-based collaboration with flexibility to work from home.

You'll take ownership of implementing configuration and replication processes within a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. Working with engineers, architects, data specialists and end users, you'll help shape future ways of working while supporting the successful delivery of Sizewell C.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Configuration and Replication Process Owner who enjoys working across complex engineering environments and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Experience within the nuclear industry

  • Experience in Technical Integration and/or Configuration Management
  • Proven experience using configuration management tools such as PLM, MANTIS or similar systems
  • Experience supporting, developing or implementing engineering processes and procedures
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the implementation of Configuration and Replication processes within the PLM tool
  • Leading and preparing process-related deliverables, including process modelling activities
  • Producing and updating procedures impacted by the introduction of new PLM capabilities
  • Working closely with data, architecture and engineering teams to make sure process and data requirements align
  • Gathering feedback from end users and supporting change management activities to help teams adopt new ways of working

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a salary starting from £56,000, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

Why Join Us?

For more than 60 years, nuclear power stations in the UK have been quietly keeping Britain fuelled with massive amounts of home-grown energy.

Our teams up and down the country are proudly continuing to serve the nation – but they also have an eye on the future.

EDF is leading the UK's nuclear renaissance with the construction of a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C and plans for a new power station at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

Nuclear power is the most reliable, low-carbon energy source currently available to the UK. EDF is playing a key role in the development of nuclear sites, while Hinkley Point C will provide low-carbon electricity to meet 7% of the UK demand. The project is already making a positive impact on the local and national economy as well as boosting skills and education.

We’re not just building new nuclear power stations. We’re developing careers, upskilling generations and creating thousands of employment and apprenticeship opportunities across a variety of skills areas.

It takes a special kind of person to work in the nuclear energy industry and although we have thousands of them there’s always a need for more.

Our industry has a mind-boggling range of opportunities and more jobs, and in more places, than you might think. But it’s also an industry which is changing.

We’re a responsible business and proud to be Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity. With size, age and experience, we believe we can do even more.
