Assistant Project Manager
Mactech
Rates: £255 PAYE to £355 UMBRELLA per day
Location: Bristol/Aztec West
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Responsible Designer and Nuclear Services Contracts
- Ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget engineering delivery
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
- Proactively monitor and manage project progress
- Track milestones, deadlines, and budget
- Anticipate and resolve contract issues
- Coordinate involvement of multiple project stakeholders
- Provide regular progress and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate highest standards of nuclear professionalism and safety
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience in Project Management or Project Engineering
- Experience with large, complex engineering or construction projects
- Knowledge of NEC contracts preferred
- Degree in relevant science or engineering
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong leadership and coordination abilities
- Budget and commercial awareness
- Problem-solving approach
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Familiarity with CDM and Nuclear Site License requirements
- Knowledge of power station design (desirable)
