Workforce Mobilisation Manager

The Opportunity


At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.


As Workforce Mobilisation Manager you’ll work as part of the Employment Affairs Unit leading on the governance of seamless mobilisation, onboarding, remobilisation and demobilisation processes across HPC’s large, diverse workforce. You’ll work closely with contractors, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure every individual joining the project is set up for success. From contract management of the delivery of the Induction Centre to upholding compliance standards, your leadership will help shape a safe, inclusive, and high-performing site culture.

What You’ll Be Doing


You’ll be at the heart of workforce mobilisation — guiding our contractors from early engagement through to demobilisation. Your role will ensure that mobilisation processes are not only compliant and consistent but also aligned with the high standards expected at HPC. You’ll oversee the governance of competency and qualification frameworks and onboarding processes to ensure compliance with Licence Condition 9 and the relevant CDM regulations..


You’ll lead the continuous improvement of mobilisation processes ensuring they remain efficient and compliant with HPC’s regulatory and legal requirements and meet demands through each stage of the project. Your oversight will extend from governance, contract management, reporting and maintaining transparency and accountability across the project. You’ll also champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, embedding these values into every stage of the workforce journey.


As a key figure in the Employment Affairs Unit, you’ll provide strategic insight and operational leadership, deputising for senior managers when needed. Your work will directly support compliance with Nuclear Site Licence conditions and Construction Design and Management Regulations—making you a vital part of HPC’s success.
