Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Follow Appropriate GE Policies, Procedures and complete necessary documentation. 
  • Comply with the integrity and compliance guidelines as well as promote a safe working environment 
  • As part of a centric minded squad, installation and maintenance on customer's equipment be it Turbines, Generators, Auxiliaries. 
  • Develop an understanding of Engineering documents and processes 
  • Develop an understanding of all aspects of mechanical engineering measuring techniques to high tolerances. 
  • Develop experience in Large Turbine, Generator and Auxiliaries 
  • Perform other suitable duties as assigned or required.  
  • Work under strict Foreign Material Exclusion rules.


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Travel to and from various field assignments.
  • Basic IT Literacy 
  • Full Driving License 
  • Fluent in English language  
  • This position will be subject to Nuclear vetting
  • Achieved or working towards NVQ in Mechanical Studies preferred. 
  • Power Plant experience.
  • Demonstrates individual & team skills. 
  • Strong organisational skills.  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.  
  • Experience and training on Alstom, GE, Siemens or other OEM equipment would be an advantage
