The Steam Turbine TFA (Technical Field Advisor), based 90% of the time on a nuclear construction site, is responsible for the installation of Nuclear Steam Turbine components on the final customer's site. This position is part of a new dynamic within Arabelle Solutions. You will be part of a team working on all installation projects of new ARABELLE shaft lines, for EDF projects or international clients. The first assignment for this position will be at the Hinkley Point site in UK, for approximately 2 to 5 years. The main objective is to develop and centralize a team of experts in new assemblies to meet future European and global challenges. You will be supported by a team of shaft line, generator, and pump TFAs, with the backing of project, engineering, procurement, tooling, and commissioning teams for the execution of your mission. Upfront preparation and skills development are key phases of each project. The role includes representing Arabelle Solutions to the client. Full ownership of the assigned scope and a clear vision of the finished product delivered to the client are key to success in this role.


Safety


Ensure implementation of EHS culture, communication, and compliance by all involved parties (Arabelle Solutions, subcontractors, and final client).
Ensure compliance with the EHS and lockout/tagout plans.
Conduct on-site audits with the EHS manager.
Be proactive in managing FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) on site.
Promote shared vigilance on activities outside Arabelle Solutions' scope.


Quality


Ensure final technical compliance of the installation and handover to the commissioning team for the turbine and its auxiliaries.
Ensure that quality requirements specified by Arabelle Solutions Engineering instructions are fully respected during site activities.
Review quality documentation to validate the assembly program and methods.
Ensure that the site quality plan and records are continuously updated.
Detect, track, and proactively manage technical issues.
Manage non-conformities from creation to on-site technical modifications.
Consider feedback (REX) and include corrective actions (Reactive REX).
Implement best practices shared within the TFA NNB Construction team.
Facilitate handover operations to commissioning teams.
Compile the assembly dossier and verify its completeness.


Delay/Planning


Participate in site planning and coordination.
Prioritize and optimize key activities and escalate any short- or medium-term blocked activities.
Monitor progress, report delays, and analyze them for improvement.
Coordinate activities with Arabelle Solutions offshore entities (Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers).
Coordinate commissioning activities required during assembly operations.


Cost


Participate in site mobilization planning (workload/skills/resources alignment).
Track hours on site for Arabelle Solutions and subcontractor personnel and compare with budget.
Ensure workload/resource alignment on site.
Track material/tooling requests - report missing or damaged items.
Monitor budgets.
Coordinate expense reports.
Evaluate supplier invoices.
Track hours on site for Arabelle Solutions and subcontractor personnel.


Qualifications and Required Experience


Engineering degree or equivalent.
Significant experience on major industrial projects involving large-scale equipment.
Project management skills.
Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.
Mobile position - frequent travel - Europe and abroad.
As a reminder, one of the first missions is in UK at the Hinkley Point C site for approximately 2 to 5 years.
Valid driver's license required.
