Opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to work with Tissot on the Hinkley Point C Project,


Contract type : Fixed term 1 year contract

Salary : £25-£28k PA DoE
Hours : 42.5 hours per week


Main Duties : 

 

  • Perform payroll activity utilising Time and Attendance system, and Sage in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Resolves pay queries in an efficient and timely manner in support of harmonious Industrial Relations and general employee wellbeing and engagement.
  • Responsible for maintaining/updating the payroll system. This includes inputting data for new starters, taking out leavers, change of grades.
  • Collation and recording of Lodge Forms to determine taxable status of employee's lodge payments.
  • Handle pension, HMRC, NI and contact with relevant entities for any queries.
  • Inputs absence and sickness details into payroll system.
  • Inputs holiday requests details into payroll system.
  • In the case of pay queries, investigates for timesheet error in the following priority order.
  • Applies Travel entitlement on a monthly basis for periodic leave.


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and competency-based assessment/ interview
  • Degree in finance, or accounting ideal.
  • Minimum 3 years experience
