Job Responsibilities:
- Health Partners have an exciting opportunity for experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive.
- This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.
- It is a part time position where the successful candidate will work Monday-Wednesday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm at our clients site, Hinkley Point C
- The successful candidate must have previous Occupational Health experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing health surveillance and manage escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians.
- Providing professional advice, support and guidance.
- Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
- Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role.
- Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
- Supporting the Senior OH Advisor to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.
- Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health Diploma
Experience:
- The successful candidate must have previous Occupational Health experience.
- Experience working within A&E/intensive care
- Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
- Registered Nurse (Part 1)
