Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Health Partners have an exciting opportunity for experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive.
  • This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.
  • It is a part time position where the successful candidate will work Monday-Wednesday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm at our clients site, Hinkley Point C
  • The successful candidate must have previous Occupational Health experience.

 


What you'll be doing:

 

  • Providing health surveillance and manage escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians.
  • Providing professional advice, support and guidance.
  • Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
  • Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role.
  • Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
  • Supporting the Senior OH Advisor to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.
  • Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health Diploma

 


Experience:

 

  • The successful candidate must have previous Occupational Health experience.
  • Experience working within A&E/intensive care
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1)
