About Hinkley Point C

 

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.

 

Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 


  • Responsible for maintaining the HR database and the data contained for the MEH Alliance.
  • Undertaking regular audits to ensure that the data contained is correct and up to date.
  •  Assisting with HR activities including onboarding, offboarding, arranging exit interviews, opt out tracking and internal movements etc.
  • Assisting with the recording of white-collar overtime on a weekly basis.
  • Assisting with the management of the maintenance of the HR Mailbox, allocating emails to the appropriate person if unable to deal with directly.
  • Responsible for coordinating the desk at multiple locations.
  • Coordinating activities as required.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of MEH Alliance App database – updating leavers, starters and movements as well as being responsible for appropriate content.
  • Assisting the Health Surveillance Coordinators with Fit Certificates and 1 to 1 follow ups.
  • Dealing with general queries from the MEH Alliance Team.
  • Arrange and support meetings on request of the HR Team.
  • Additional appropriate ad hoc duties as agreed with MEH Line Manage
  • Ensure the HR Database is correct and up to date

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Strong Administration  / Data entry and Co-Ordination skill set 
  • Ability to gain a security clearance.
