With your expertise, you'll help create safer buildings and communities by providing critical guidance and conducting thorough assessments that meet and exceed legislative standards.


Required Skills:


Deep knowledge of fire safety legislation and regulation management.
Proven experience in fire safety risk assessments and audits within commercial or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of general fire safety arrangements, systems, and roles.
Ability to interpret and address process fire risks, including DSEAR considerations.
Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Skilled in analysing complex problems and recommending practical solutions.


Preferred Education and Experience:


NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certification or equivalent.
Degree or diploma level education or relevant professional experience.
Demonstrable success in fire safety risk assessments, audits, and compliance within construction or commercial sectors.


Other Requirements:


Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to stay current with industry regulations, best practices, and ongoing training.
Self-motivation and proactive work ethic to support incident investigations and continuous improvement efforts.

Nice to Have Skills:


Experience with fire safety in high-risk environments.
Familiarity with fire safety implications related to explosive atmospheres.
Membership of professional bodies such as the Institute of Fire Engineers.
