Job Overview

The role of working supervisor is required to assist with Linxon's extensive scope on HPC. This person should be electrically biased. We are looking for a positive, proactive person who will lead teams and oversee works on behalf of Linxon at HPC.


Objectives of the role

This role requires you to Supervise and oversee operatives to ensure they work safely in line with HPC processes. You will ensure that Linxon's electrical installations are delivered to a high standard. You will maintain accurate records for audit purposes and ensure compliance with HPC protocols and ensure that all working areas are organized, clean, and free from obstruction. You will work closely with the site supervisors other team members to ensure the safe and timely delivery of our scope and manage specialist contractors on behalf of Linxon.

 

Preferred Qualifications
·    Level 3 Installation Electrician Apprenticeship Standard (STO152)
·    An equivalent Electrical Installation Apprenticeship
·    18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations Certified


Desirable Experience in or Qualifications / Certificates
·    National Grid qualifications and or experience
·    Experience and working knowledge at HPC
·    Appointed Persons experience
·    Incident Controller
·    TMIC
·    Experience and working knowledge at HPC


Experience and competencies

General:
·    Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
·    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with diverse workers across different teams, subcontractors, clients and management
·    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
·    Must be fluent in English both verbal and written is essential
·    High Work Standards:  qualitatively, demonstrates initiative and motivation
·    Knowledge of electrical installations, pipework, mechanical installations.


Experience:

·    Experience of working on HPC site.
·    Experience of promoting a proactive safety culture, compliance, safety audits, inspections, enforcing site rules and procedures, escalating when necessary
·    5 years verified experience in the role or as a Pipefitter, Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Machinist or Plater.
