TCi Construction WORKS is a commercial new build, fit out and refurbishment contractor operating across the South of England, with extensive experience in specialist industrial environments.

 
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Construction quantity surveying technician' level 4 apprenticeship to join our Commercial Team in Bridgwater. You’ll gain hands on experience on live construction projects while completing the Construction Quantity Surveying Technician (Level 4) Apprenticeship.
For the right candidate, the Construction Quantity Surveyor (Degree) Apprenticeship (Level 6) may be considered.

 

The closing date is 12/06/2026

Minimum age – 17 years

Starting salary – apprenticeship minimum wage (may consider more with prior learning/experience)


Roles & Responsibilities: 


•    Support cost management, commercial reporting, and budget control
•    Assist with procurement, tender comparisons, and subcontractor payments
•    Help measure, value, and report works on site
•    Work closely with site teams, suppliers, and commercial professionals
•    Develop practical quantity surveying and commercial management skills
 

What you’ll learn:


•    Cost planning, forecasting, and financial control
•    Measurement and valuation of construction works
•    Contractual and commercial principles
•    Professional working practices within construction
 

Requirements:


•    GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
•    Strong numeracy, organisation, and IT skills
•    Interest in construction, commercial management, or quantity surveying
•    Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship
•    Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol testing and BPSS vetting
•    Eligibility to live and work in the UK
