Required Skills:


Broad knowledge of the building industry, materials, trades methods, and legal requirements
Excellent organization, delegation, and communication skills
Proven experience working within large construction teams
Ability to produce accurate, relevant daily diaries and reports
Strong attention to detail when checking work and materials
Effective relationship-building with contractors
Persuasive and diplomatic communication style, capable of maintaining independence


Preferred Education and Experience:


Minimum of HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent vocational training and experience
Prior experience in construction surveillance and quality compliance
Attendance and certification in the HPC Clerk of Works course (training provided)


Nice to Have Skills:


Experience in the installation and erection of large civil works
Understanding of CDM Regulations and drawing approval processes
Proficiency in English, with knowledge of French considered an advantage
Experience using electronic handheld devices for data capture


Preferred Education and Experience:


Minimum of HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent vocational training and experience
Prior experience in construction surveillance and quality compliance
Attendance and certification in the HPC Clerk of Works course (training provided)


Other Requirements:


Willingness to support site safety policies and procedures
Ability to adapt to site-wide management issues and coordinate with diverse teams
Flexibility to support travel and field duties as needed
