UCS College Group has recently been awarded the prestigious Clean Energy Technical Excellence College status, recognising its leadership in developing the highly skilled workforce needed for clean energy infrastructure, advanced engineering and net-zero delivery.
This is a truly exciting time to join University Centre Somerset College Group (UCS), which has achieved unprecedented success in its response to the workforce skills, competence and compliance agenda supporting the UK's clean energy transition and the “first-in-a-generation” new nuclear build at Hinkley Point C (HPC).
The College is the leading skills delivery partner to the HPC project and works in collaboration with the client, contractors and supply chain. UCS, as Managing Agent for the Centres of Excellence with HPC, operates three unique facilities that support the Tier 1 Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC contractors as they mobilise and develop their workforces to meet the quality, safety and compliance standards required during the Mechanical & Electrical phase
of the build.

On a daily basis you will be part of a motivated team with a unique opportunity to work directly with HPC and education within the context of Europe's largest clean energy construction project, through a large FE college that is producing extraordinary results. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to work across the various centres as operational requirements dictate. UCS offer a range of fantastic employee benefits including:
