Assistant Quantity Surveyor

40 hours per week
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating tender strategies
- Develop cost planning and project budgeting including but not less than tender analysis and bidding, valuation of variation, cost estimation, subletting, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and variation and final account settlement
- Responsible for interim payment application, certifying sub-contractor's payment valuation, final account settlement
- Provide advice on contractual terms to Project Managers and Engineers
- Monitor subcontractors performances
- Assist in resolving disputes between contracting parties
- Quantity taking off
- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts conditions in current use
Required Skills
- Diploma or degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (building, construction, civil or structural engineering)
Required Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant QS working experience
