Apprentice HR Administrator Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the CWA Wide Section.
What will you do?
As an Apprentice HR Administrator, you'll support the HR team in a dynamic, multicultural environment, ensuring seamless onboarding, data accuracy, and employee engagement for our employees on the CWA.
This is your chance to grow your professional and academic experience with our project. Key areas you will be involved in include:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Coordinate seamless onboarding for new starters, including vetting, international transfers, and IT access.
Act as the primary point of contact for new hires, hiring managers, and recruiters.
Manage end-to-end offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
HR Operations:
Prepare and proofread HR documents (contracts, offer letters, policy communications).
Resolve employee queries on payroll, benefits, and systems, escalating complex issues as needed.
Organize employee engagement activities (team events, well-being initiatives, recognition programs).
Data Management:
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
Project Support:
Contribute to HR initiatives (e.g., improving international transfer processes).
Cover for team members during absences to maintain service continuity.
