Accounts Assistant – Purchase Ledger  


As a multi-award winning and highly respected window, door, and conservatory installer in the South East. SEHBAC is part of One Group Construction (OGC) which is a successful group of construction related businesses in East Anglia but working throughout the UK. 
We now have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team based in the Ipswich office, this is a full-time permanent position working Monday – Friday 8:30am -4:30pm.  
If you have a head for numbers, great communication skills, a willingness to learn and able to work to tight deadlines, we want to hear from you!


Main Duties:


•    Inputting & coding a range of invoices
•    Processing weekly and monthly payment runs
•    Reconciling supplier statements and requesting copies where needed
•    Meeting month end deadlines
•    Setting up new supplier accounts & maintaining existing accounts
•    Liaising with suppliers etc to solve queries 


Are you the person we are looking for?


We are looking for someone who’s methodical, has an acute attention to detail, and is able to work to deadlines. They will need to be forward thinking, beyond the given task along with having a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. The successful applicant will have a minimum of Grades A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent).


The successful candidate will be able to build good relationships, be well organised, and self-motivated. They must have a good working MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of cloud-based programs would be an advantage but not essential.
