Opportunity for a 3D Machine Control Engineer working with Tru7 on the Sizewell C Project,
Main Duties:
- Operate and manage 3D machine control systems on heavy plant equipment.
- Ensure accurate setup, calibration, and performance of machine control systems.
- Work closely with surveyors and engineers to ensure precision in earthworks.
- Train and support operators in using 3D machine control systems.
- Maintain and update software and hardware as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Report on system performance and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree or certification in Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
Requirements:
- Experience in 3D machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction and earthworks processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills for training and support.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
Non-Essential Exp:
- Experience with multiple machine control systems.
- Convert and upload design files into machine control software.
- Assist with 3D model creation for machine control applications.
