Opportunity for a Project Manager - Heavy Civils (Sizewell C) working for The Civil Works Alliance on the Sizewell C Project,
The purpose of the role;
To manage and deliver multiple portions/disciplines of construction to programme within budget and cost/financial control . The candidate will have a Heavy Civils based background which to include Major Earthworks Cut & Fill operations, Stockpile management, Platform installation for Piling/ Cranage/Sheet Piling works, infrastructure installation, Heavy Duty FRC slabs experience, Drainage and water management all carried out in a live dynamic work
environment.
You will also have to provide and demonstrate Strategic operation management through strong leadership and be capable of controlling a multidisciplined team in multiple areas with the larger site area, Strong leadership which will develop, mentor and guide junior members of the team through experience and Knowledge. Also demonstrate a can-do attitude and be able to communicate efficiently internally within the CWA Environment, and externally with the larger client team.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Proven track record in managing and leading large teams
• Demonstrable experience of innovation, in all fields (Health and Safety, Operational Delivery etc)
• Experienced in the recruitment and development of talent within the business, including mentoring, stretch and challenge for junior team members and ensuring clearly defined development plans are in place
• Strong leadership and management skills, including completion of formal qualification (e.g. ILM).
• Wide ranging independent judgement evident, proven track record in this regard.
• Has achieved professional accreditation and undertakes extra-curricular activities to advance the profession (e.g. ICE, IHT, CMI)
• Acceptance of responsibility of role, and actively seeks opportunities to enhance personal performance
