Job Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and deliver all phases of the Sizewell C project, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline and objectives.
- Coordinate and manage multiple contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure that all activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, and track project performance against key milestones.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with the company's values and project-specific guidelines, including environmental and sustainability objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- SMSTS
- Chartered Status preferred but not essential
Experience
- Strong substation or cabling/utilities experience
- Experience on large scale civils/utilities projects
- Strong commercial knowledge
- Experience delivering large power/utilities projects from a civils perspective
