Job Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, manage, and deliver all phases of the Sizewell C project, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, and track project performance against key milestones.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's values and project-specific guidelines, including environmental and sustainability objectives.

 


Qualifications

 

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • SMSTS
  • Chartered Status preferred but not essential

 


Experience

 

  • Strong substation or cabling/utilities experience
  • Experience on large scale civils/utilities projects
  • Strong commercial knowledge
  • Experience delivering large power/utilities projects from a civils perspective
