Opportunity for a Planner (Sizewell C) working with Danny Sullivan on the Sizewell C Project,


Salary: £60k-80k p.a


Main Duties: 

 

  • Develop detailed project schedules for water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, reservoirs, and other water systems.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to define project milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain baseline schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes and delays.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Work with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Track project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities.
  • Identify potential risks and create strategies to prevent or minimize delays.
  • Update project plans and schedules based on risk assessments and unforeseen issues.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, schedule updates, and performance metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedule changes, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and productivity on objectives.
  • Ensure all planning activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures and procedures.


Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Degree-level education in a relevant field e.g. Construction Management/Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 software
  • Proven prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering sector and project programming
