Opportunity for a Site Surveyor (Sizewell C) working with Tru7 on the Sizewell C Project,


Overview:


Tru7 Group is seeking a full-time Land Surveyor to join our contracts division. Based at our head office on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk, the role offers a unique opportunity to work on and attend a variety of exciting projects throughout South East/East Anglia.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct topographical and land surveys using advanced survey equipment and technology.
  • Produce precise survey data, reports, and deliverables to meet project requirements.
  • Perform site visits to gather necessary measurements and data for various projects.
  • Ensure survey tasks are completed efficiently within project timelines and budgets.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, maintaining industry best practices throughout operations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align survey objectives with broader project goals.
  • Mentor junior staff and technicians, fostering their development within the company.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the accurate communication of survey findings and project progress.


Qualifications/Experience: 

 

  • Site Engineering: 1 year (required)
  • Proven experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably within the civil engineering or construction sectors.
  • Expertise in surveying techniques, including setting out, measuring, machine control inc. base stations install and processing data.
  • Proficiency in surveying software and equipment (e.g., AutoCAD, LSS, Leica, Trimble, and Topcon GPS).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage survey resources to meet project demands.
  • Commercial awareness and dedication to delivering top-quality results for clients.
  • Full UK driving licence.
