We are currently looking for an additional Plant and Consumables Coordinator to join the team, in this role you will;

•            Manage the site Plant and consumable needs.

•            liaise with construction and identifying critical path lead in times.

•            Lead Partner procurement activities for P&C and support other site procurement needs.

•            Place and expedite purchase orders in line with MEH & Partner requirements.

•            Ensure Order Requisitions have been approved where necessary with HR, Security & Quality.

•            Partake in resolving supplier issues, such as performance, delivery expediting, payments.

•            Negotiate pricing of materials and subcontracts. Seek out cost-effective solutions.

•            Expedite the issue of delivery notes from site/factories to assist in the GRN process.

•            Maintain log of Order Requisitions.

•            Assist the finance department with clearing ‘blocked’ invoices.

•            Manage Service Team who maintain, service and repair plant locally.

•            Assist in logistic timing when ordering materials and plant.

•            Establish stakeholder (construction and installation) needs to gain clarification of the volumes of plant and equipment required to support installation activities for each Works Task Order.

•            Liaise with relevant Construction Team; Commercial Team; Client; and Suppliers to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.

•            Contribute to the assessment of tenders, and the post-tender processes.

•            Contribute to supplier negotiations on price, lead-times, and contract conditions.

•            Create and maintain sustainable relationships with reach back into the Partners.

 

 

 

We are keen to hear from candidates with a strong Plant/Consumables/Materials  background who also have;

•            CITB HS&E for Managers and Professionals.

•            Conversant with all related legislation, codes, and standards.

•            Knowledge of CDM regulations.

•            Experience in MS Office - Excel, Word
