Configuration Engineer

MEH Role:    Configuration Engineer


Accountabilities:    
•    Liaise with the Plant Integration MEH Reference Configuration Lead to ensure compliance with the Project level Reference Configuration;
•    Manage and maintain the MEH Master List;
•    Attend the ‘Handover 1’ and ‘Handover 2’ Maturity and Engineering Readiness Reviews;
•    Administer the MEH CoMET configuration tool;
•    Provide visibility to the BDDMs on the maturity of a design package prior to Handover (open points, design change, interface decoupling values etc);
•    Support the BDDM in the tracking and closeout of Post-Handover Open Points etc;
•    Develop and manage KPI’s on the performance of the RD and Execution Designers

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)
•    Experience from working in an equivalent / related role;
•    Meticulous and rigorous approach to engineering to achieve high professional standards;
•    Proven ability to successfully deliver engineering safely to the correct quality, time and cost in a fast paced, schedule driven environment;
•    Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders;
•    Ability to work autonomously but with awareness of own limitations;
•    Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms

 

 

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
•    Degree in engineering (desirable) 
•    Charted / Incorporated Engineer with relevant engineering institute or working towards Charted / Incorporated status 
•    Detailed understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations advantageous but not essential.
•    Working knowledge of French language an advantage.
•    Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
