Training Coordinator (Temporary Contract)

Balfour Beatty are recruiting for a Training Coordinator to work with them on the Hinkley Point C Project.

Location : HPC Main Site
Salary: £14.38 per hour
Contract : Temporary with possibility of moving to Permanent.

Key Responsibilities : 


  • Responsible for supporting the administration of the Health and Safety and Technical training for the BB Marine Project 
  • Ensure training records are maintained and kept up to date
  • Updating the  training matrix
  • Support the HSES team with miscellaneous administration tasks
  • Supporting with the setup of training courses onsite
  • Support the Training Coordinator by liaising with trainers, delegates and suppliers to ensure smooth running of courses
  • Processing course paperwork
  • Support training and compliance internal and external audits
  • Support the training department with all administration duties
  • Maintain accurate up to date matrix information
  • Ensuring delegates report for their training
  • Act as one of the points of contact for the training department in relation to course requirements and bookings

Qualifications/Experience :

  • Line management and relevant working groups within the workforce. Sub-contractors
  • Support the Onboarding/Vetting team with required information for audits. 
  • Training providers and partners.
  • Ability to collaboratively work with other teams
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to organise, multi-task and priortise
  • Experience of working on a large project
  • Excellent organisational skills
