Technical Engineer

What will I be doing? 



As a Technical Engineer, you'll be responsible for: - 

-    Managing the delivery of several multidisciplinary projects
-    Liaison with both client and subcontractors. 
-    Analysis of networks design and specifications, and on occasion creating the proposal of change.
-    Liaise with designers by providing calculations and briefs 
-    Line manage a team of Computer Aided Design Technicians
-    Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders
-    Maintain records of all the networks on site
-    Management of the commercial elements of given projects
-    Ensure Health, Safety, Environment & Quality rules are followed at all times

Day to day, you will run projects, organise, and attend stakeholder meetings, brief site operatives, liaise with our delivery and project teams, attend site meetings and complete surveys.



What are the requirements? 

We would like you to have an Engineering Degree in a related discipline and / or previous experience in a similar role. You should have gained project delivery skills in a water, civils, or other engineering/infrastructure environment. You need to be capable of interpreting and implementing technical notes and specifications, as well as hold the ability to read and draft drawings.


Software we use include Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD Civils 3D. Previous experience using these software's are highly beneficial. 

This is a very busy project environment, so you must be able to work effectively to tight deadlines and be able to handle changing priorities too. On occasion, you may need to work other sites locally, so ideally you will have a full driving licence.
