Site Planner (PRIMAVERA P6)





Location : HPC nuclear power station, Bridgwater, GB.


Responsible to : Construction Manager



FAYAT LIFTING is a Tier 1 Contractor for HPC project. We manufacture, transport, install, commission and maintain large capacity travelling cranes and other handling devices for the HPC Project.

FAYAT LIFTING is mobilizing on the HPC site in 2022 and is looking for a Site Planner to strengthen its Site team.


You will join the Fayat Metal group via its new subsidiary in the United Kingdom on the HPC site.

You will work in support of the Construction Manager, in a transversal operation aimed at improving the global management of the project.




  • Maintaining the Primavera P6 programmes up to date and Identifying planning scope, major constraints and contract requirements in collaboration with all project’s team
  • Identifying quantities and factors affecting the programme
  • Participating integrated planning meetings with project stakeholders
  • Establishing and agreeing with all relevant stakeholder’s construction outputs and associated activity hours
  • Establishing and agreeing with stakeholders’ key methods of construction, sequencing, installation, and handover to commissioning
  • Producing and documenting the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.
  • Producing an integrated level 4 construction Programme with all relevant stakeholders
  • Supplying the FAYAT LIFTING construction team with planning support
  • The issue and communication of Contract Programmes in line with requirements.
  • Updating progress weekly utilising project controls tools
  • Monitoring the resources and needs with the Construction Manager
  • Monitoring and planning daily activities on site with the site teams and the Construction Manager

Planning and reporting:

  • Ensure the client planning of the entire project, respond to client requests concerning the programme, on Primavera P6.
  • Compile monthly client reporting
  • Update dashboards, produce progress reports
  • Coordinate customer billing
  • Regularly update internal schedules, with an alert role and optimization proposals


  • Follow NNB/approved body inspections and non-conformities with the Site QHSE Manager
  • Track and manage hold and witness points via the SONIMS platform
  • Monitoring the subcontractors with the Site QHSE Manager
  • Participate in project compliance reporting
  • Ensure the documentary management of the projects


  • Organize transport from France and from the Warehouse related to the project
  • Coordinate transport subcontracting with the Purchasing department
  • Coordinate on-site shipments with the client and the Site team
  • Monitor equipment inspections and calibrations (torque wrench, welding machine,…) with the Construction Manager

Improving processes and controlling performance:

  • Create, bring to life and share project tools
  • Implement high-performance processes/good practices that bring added value to the project teams, make them known and disseminate them
  • Participate in the harmonization of practices


The Planner may be required to perform other missions according to his profile (Design modification, administrative tasks related to HPC Site formalities for access or transport,…).

The Site Planner position may evolve to deputy Construction Manager.




  • The candidate will have experience of planning services within industrial projects within the construction industry
  • Good experience working with Primavera is mandatory
  • Good Nuclear Safety Culture is a plus.
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.

  • A good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

Candidates will preferably hold one of the following qualifications:


  • Level 6 in Project management – Planification or equivalent,
  • CSCS




  • 2-3 year of experience in the industrial sector.
  • Mandatory proven experience working with Primavera P6


It would be great if candidates are site pass holders (or could easily have a site pass reinstated) however this is not essential.
